Saturday, March 12, 2022 – A very difficult Weather but great Flights at the End…

We do not remember how many times this month we have had to demonstrate our skills to carry out an activity. And today was no exception, even was one of the most difficult days that we could remember. This was the thought of Luis Ruiz, his son Ian and David Garber when meeting several people scheduled in the morning to carry out their Demo flights. And the weather was not cooperating. Rains and clouds covered the entire north coast of the island since sunrise 🙄. But, they knew that after the storm cloud system passed, there would be an opportunity to do some flying.

The meeting point, and especially when the weather conditions have not been good, is Villa Pesquera Isabela.

Pilots and Families of Team Kamikazes present at the activity…

David Garber and his wife Amara

Ben Doyle and his wife Andrea

Jomar Crespo

Living the Experience…

Karla Vasquez and Mia from Caguas and Gurabo
Eduardo, Ernesto, Alexis and Luis from California, USA
Jailene Rojas and Arnaldo (on her birthday) from Ponce
Giordano and Glorimar from Yabucoa

Once the rain and wind system passed, Ian, David and Luis began to carry out the Demo Flights. The Pilot Ben Doyle was assisting them with takeoffs and landings. Later Keith and Jomar join the assistance.

At about 12:30 PM, and with winds that oscillated at 22 mph with gusts at 27 mph (according to measurements at the Ramey Base airport, BQN), we made the last flights of the day…🙄

Each and every one of the people present who came to live their flight experiences had a great time and wanted to return. Check the photos and video accompanied the story.

Tomorrow, Sunday, we plan to return to Isabela, hoping for better flight conditions. It should be noted that when leaving Isabela, we ran into rains, which were intense for different parts of the island.
