Sunday, March 27, 2022 – EPIC Day at Isabela, from Flying to a BIG Party…

Epic day and celebration… The story is divided into two parts. In the morning at the flights section in Villa Pesquera Isabela where we had a Full House of pilots and new friends wanting to know a little more about our sport and passion.

The second in the afternoon where we had an unforgettable activity at the home of the pilot and friend Alberto Sabah and his wife Mercedes… there was a lot of celebration, but let’s go…

1st Part, the flights in Villa Pesquera Isabela…

Excellent weather, in fact quite light winds of intensity in which some pilots had problems taking off.

Kamikazes Present…

David Garber and his wife Amara
Edgardo Rivera and his wife Wilnelia
Luis Ruiz and his son Ian Darrell
Mario Muñiz, and his wife Ivonne
Ben Doyle and his wife Andrea
Sammy Badillo
Jose “Cheo” Roman

Living the Paramotor Flight Experience…

Stephanie and Cristal from Hatillo
Destiny and Jessica from Camuy
Jackie Ramos from Levittown
Sharlene Pagan from Juana Diaz
Edelmari Rivera her husband Ferdinand and children Ian and Jaidel from Naranjito
Nora Velásquez, Omar and Jonier from Humacao

The Morning Story…

And we started the activities with David Garber testing Sammy‘s new paraglider, the Apco F3, of which David expressed feeling very comfortable with it. “Is a Nice Paraglider” he mentioned…

After this and while the pilots were preparing their equipment. Friends from different parts of the island began to arrive to enjoy their experiences in the Paramotor. This time Ian, with his recuperate leg, would help Luis and David in carrying out the Demo Flights.

The first flights of the morning corresponded to Stephanie, Cristal, Destiny and Jessica. To carry out these flights, David, Ian and Luis had to use bigger paragliders and use the Front Launch method with them. Fortunately, all the girls ran very well and managed to Take Off and enjoy their rides in great conditions 💪.

In the case of Jackie Ramos, it was a bit more complicated since Jackie has a knee problem and she couldn’t run very fast. David managed to be able to go out with her without major inconvenience since Jackie put all her effort into the Take Off. Congratulations 🙂!!!.

Later in the morning, with better wind intensity, the flights of Sharlene and the families of Edelmari and Nora continued.

In the case of Edelmari, she coordinated the family’s flights, but even more…, they had a surprise for her son Jaidel, who was turning 15 years old and they coordinated with Luis Ruiz, that the fly with him pass over the family where they have a sign lettering celebrating their birthday. Excellent 💪!!!.

Among the pilots we can comment that the pilots Edgardo (which already makes it very easy), Cheo Román, Ben Doyle and Sammy Badillo in their Apco F3 managed to take off by the Front Launch method in very little wind. At about 1 PM we picked up…, a Celebration awaited us…🥴

The celebration…

Behind closed doors, the Kamikaze girls led by Jessica, Ivonne, Neisha and Mercedes, combined with the rest of the Kamikaze family to keep everything up to date on food, snacks and drinks. We also had a visit from Ian’s family, which included his grandparents Geño and Marie, his father Darrell, and his Uncles Ricky, Minnie, Andy and their respective families came to share and bless the activity.

In fact, what do we celebrate? You could say Life… BUT specifically, Ian Darrell’s birthdays, and Amara Garber’s and Ray Malave’s past birthdays. In addition, we said goodbye to David and Amara who have to return to the USA next week to fulfill professional commitments.
