This Story was realized on Monday, March 28, 2022. Was not realized in our Traditional activities of the Team. But is one of the most significant goals made in fly the North Coast in Paragliding without the use of a Paramotor.
David Garber and Ivan Torres have been exploring the North Coast and the possibilities it bring to the flights in Paraglider. The breeze of air need to enter from the North direction to create lift air close to the cliff that cover all the area from Aguadilla to Camuy.
In the past, part of the pilots of Team Kamikazes, as Ivan Torres, Fernan Lassalle (RIP), Pablo Cruz, Luis Ruiz and others have been flying for hours the cliff without the necessity of a Paramotor. And even as far as the Royal Isabela Golf Course, back and Forth….
The Correct Moment…
This time, Ivan and David, gets the correct weather and were at the correct time to try to goes farther from the launching site at Isabela. Helping each other in fly, both manage to pass the Royal Isabela Cliff and push all the way to the Guajataca Tunnel. Is the first Time that they go that far!!!, and even is possible to push for longer distance, we will see in the future!!!
