Weekend, November 04 – 06, 2022 – Darwin and Edgardo Adventures below Storm Nicole!?

Darwin Hernández is back on the island, at least for a few days. This means that his “brother” pilot, Edgardo Rivera, together with Darwin would be flying their Paramotors for as long as possible.

The only drawback is that this weekend is that the weather conditions were not good for flying. So they will need to evaluate their possibilities and places where they could carry out some flights. It turns out, that over the island was forming the eventually Storm/Hurricane Nicole, which eventually in the next days will affect the Bahamas and the State of Florida, USA. At the end, both pilots succeeded on their plans and here we make a brief summary of their experiences!

Upon his arrival on the island, Darwin took the opportunity to fly to Alberto Sabah’s house in Isabela. Thanks to Alberto’s huge front yard, it is possible to Launch and Land there to visit Alberto. Inclusive this visit has been made by more than one pilot in the past few weeks. This time it was Darwin, and here are a couple of videos of his visit.

Saturday, November 05, 2022…

Rainy event for the entire island and with the turbulent wind predominantly from the South. This rainy event lasted all day and for all corners of the island. However, Darwin and Edgardo met at “El Único” Beach in Dorado, where despite the weather conditions they managed to make a few short flights in the morning before the weather completely closed. Here are some photos/videos of the adventure…

Sunday, November 06, 2022…

With a great improvement in the weather, Alberto Sabah, ventured to fly with southerly winds from his home in Isabela. He would soon discover that there is not much pleasure in flying a Paramotor in thermal conditions and with the wind coming from the interior of the island. At least he did his test and now he could better appreciate the flight paradise we have in Isabela with the right wind direction to fly the coastal area. Here a Video with Alberto Taking Off in the direction of his House.

Meanwhile, Darwin and Edgardo, this time met on the beach of Villa Pesquera Anasco. The conditions were way better than yesterday, and the winds entering from the South. They spent ALL day there, with multiples flights, inclusive one at Sun Set to finish their activities. Here are some Videos of their adventures.
