Sunday, March 12, 2023 – And We Return to “Las Criollas” Beach in Barceloneta!!!

And finally, after months of absence, we returned to “Las Criollas” Beach in Barceloneta. And the best thing is that not only did we return, but we also have excellent weather to fly.

We had a Full House, a lot of action and adventures, but first we called the list of people who attended the activity.

Kamikaze Pilots and Family Present…

Luis Ruiz, his wife Jessica and son Noah Enrique
Pablo Cruz and his wife Millie
Mario Muñiz and his wife Ivonne
Eduardo Pabon and his wife Esther (after months of absence)
Ricardo González and his wife Ermelinda
Alberto Sabah, his wife Mercedes and their daughter Jessica
Hermes Ferrer, his wife Neysha and daughter Katelyn
Noel Vale and his wife Tata
Carlos Medina, his wife and friends (Possible Student)

The Story…

It was nice to see Eduardo Pabon and his wife Esther who had not been able to share with us for months. In fact Eduardo, was one of the most active pilots of the day. He was joined early by Mario and Ricardo, both had the opportunity to fly to the Statue of Columbus, which is located next to Arecibo. They lived the experience of seeing the statue from another perspective. Something that very few people can do.

Another who was very active was Pablo, and later Alberto together with Luis. In the case of Alberto, he also flew to the Statue of Columbus and then on his return, he accompanied Luis to fly to Esperanza Beach in Manatí and later to the famous Mar Chiquita beach. Luis also gets ready a “new” Trike Flash to make some flights. The first passenger for testing was his little son, Noah Enrique. Later Luis made some Demo Flights to the family of Carlos Medina, a possible new student at the school.

Later in the afternoon Noel and Hermes also arrived with their respective wives. Both were practicing with their paragliders for upcoming adventures.

The ATV’s in the Area…

We ended by commenting that the number of all-terrain vehicles in the place was very remarkable. And while most of them are very polite and just looking to have a good time, unfortunately there are always some who are dedicated to making noise and spread dust to the different tents located in the place 😒.

Definitely, if we return, it will be a Saturday, instead of Sunday, to minimize this type of situation.
