Early Flights in San German…
During the complete last week we were forced to rest about our flying activities. Just that the wind intensity was very strong for the whole island. But today, we restart our activities with a morning flight in San Germán. The pilots present were Edgardo Rivera and Luis Ruiz.
Both pilots took off without major problems and flew for about an hour through the towns of San Germán, Cabo Rojo and Hormigueros.
As part of their flights, they passed over the remains of the Old Eureka Sugar Mill in Hormigueros.

After this flight, the Instructor Luis Ruiz arrived at La Guancha in Ponce where Mr. Wilkins Torres, a native of Villalba, was waiting for him to start training. Also arrived, Luis Antonio Cruz from Ponce, who has been following the sport closely and is also considering entering the sport.
We started to cover and explain the theoretical parts of the sport. But the Training with the paraglider will have to wait as the wind conditions around noon were already quite strong.
Both Wilkins and Luis Antonio had the opportunity to put a Paramotor on their backs and feel the power they generate to fly. Training will continue tomorrow in Isabela, God Bless!🙏
