We went to “La Guancha” in Ponce. The idea of the day was to officially start the training of the new students, Micah Greenberg and his girlfriend Leora. They reside in San Juan. In addition, Luis Antonio Cruz, a native of Ponce, began training. Also, the student Wilkins Torres was continuing his training traveling from Villalba.
The morning hours passed covering the theoretical part of the sport and the equipment. Later we moved to the first paraglider inflation practices. Here Wilkins was demonstrating his progress and skills.
By noon, the wind conditions became too strong to practice paragliding, so we went with the students to test the paramotors on their backs.
