Saturday, July 08, 2023 – Windy week, back in Isabela for some Air Time…

After a week where we had no activities due to the strong wind, we returned to Isabela in search of some flights. Along with Luis Ruiz, Darwin Hernández arrived early (by surprise). He was supposed to be traveling to the USA by the night but a problem in taking his flight changed his plans. Alberto Sabah also arrived, as is customary, flying from his house.

We found in Isabela at Iván Torres and his wife Pamela with students from his Free Fly School. They were kiting with their Paragliders. There were the students Victor, Fio and Emanuel.

At some point, the practice of the students of Ivan was getting difficult due to heavy winds. They couldn’t handle their paragliders in those winds. Then, Luis took out his Training paragliders, BGD Seed, and the students were able to extend their practice for some extra minutes.

Some hours ago, we started to pack back our equipment, and received the unexpected visit of the pilot Edgardo Rivera, his wife Wilnelia, and Edgardo’s parents, Don Rafael and Ana. Edgardo is recovering from an injury and we hope we could have him soon flying with the Team. We share with them all morning until was time to leave to our homes.
