Saturday, July 29, 2023… Samuel Travis Birthday at Anasco
Samuel Travis’ birthday celebration was held on the Anasco beachfront. Many pilots from all over the island gathered there to celebrate with Samuel that special day. The Kamikaze Pilot Edgardo Rivera was in charge of coordinating the assistance of the pilots and it was a resounding success. They flew all the Coast when the weather cooperate and bring winds entering from West direction.
It was nice to see how the group of Paramotor pilots in Puerto Rico has grown. When we created our Team Kamikazes school in 2002, the sport was barely starting worldwide. In Puerto Rico, we were simply starting with the Creation of the Team and barely has 3 to 5 students at the beginning. Of those pioneers we still have the direct help of my brother Pablo Cruz, one of the first students, now a complete master veteran in the sport always pending to help everyone in the sport. Thanks Pablo, have been a great ride 💪!!!
Today, 21 years later, we have Training and witnessed the learning and adventures of practically all the pilots on the island (-> Archives -<). The work has been done. We thank God for being able to contribute to the learning of all those people to whom we have been able to show the beauty and freedom of our great sport of Paramotoring. Blessings 🙏!!!

The Adventure…
There was a lot of flight activity and great sharing between pilots and students. Luis Ruiz and his son Ian Darrell were in charge of carrying out the Demo Flights for people interested in living the experience of flying. All of them, carrying a beautiful memory of their adventures.
Meanwhile, each pilot had their own story. Wilkins was making his 5th flight, each time his progress is more evident. His wife Brenda, taking training with little Noah Enrique and his improvement is also remarkable.
Mario, Pablo, Alberto, Ricardo and Sammy flying all day and showing off their skills in the morning and afternoon.
While the students Fio and Luis Antonio were training hard and accompanied by Noel, who was learning to dominate his new Paraglider Apco lift EZ R.
In the afternoon, we received the visit of the pilot Christopher Kinchin, who comes with a Parajet Maverick Paramotor and we help him to fix some situation on it. Together with him arrived our friend Omar Colon, who had not been able to share with us for months due to personal commitments. We stayed with them until sunset, having a great time and getting ready for next week.
God Bless 🙏!!!
