This week we were mostly in equipment maintenance, after a very active weekend. In addition, the pass of Hurricane Lee to the North Atlantic Ocean has left us with some climate instability in the area. Still, we had two active days and we summarize them below.
Monday, September 11, 2023… (Aguada)
In the afternoon, Luis Ruiz and his son Noah Enrique went to Pico de Piedra beach in Aguada, so, Noah could practice with his paraglider. The wind came in gently from the NNW, but it was very hot weather, for this reason, upon arriving Luis evaluated and consulted with Noah to leave and practice at another time.
Noah’s words were to stay and practice since they were there, and so we did. This decision to stay brought a change to our lives. And in addition to Noah practices, a new member of the family came into our lives. Her name is Dulcinea, a 10-week-old dog who was abandoned in the area and became instantaneously good friends with Noah. The rest is history and Noah now has someone to take care of at home. Incredible how a decision can change the lives of people or events in our daily lives. God Bless!!!
Friday, September 15, 2023… (Isabela)
Luis Ruiz was in Villa Pesquera Isabela in the afternoon, again, on a very hot day. The wind came in softly again from the NNW. With Luis arrived the pilots Alberto Sabah (flying from his home), Mercedes Sabah and his brother Tony, Charles Riggs and Fio López, who came to practice paragliding inflation.
This time Luis had the commitment to take Heilly to fly with him. She was coming from Tennessee, USA to Live her Flight Experiences. The recommendation comes from friends Freddy Ramos and his wife Johanna who had taken previously the flight experience, and now recommend our activity to everyone. Thank you so much 🙏!!!
