Wednesday, January 03, 2024 – The first activity of flights in Isabela 2024, and it was Great !!!

The first flight activity in Isabela 2024 was a complete success. In fact, the weather conditions were so good that there was hardly any wind in the morning to be able to take off comfortably.

The morning started with clear skies and very little wind. Many friends came to live their flight experiences. For Ian and Edgardo, it meant they had to work on their takeoffs with a good race.

The flight experiences of new friends…

Arriving to Live their Flights Experiences from Tennessee, USA were, Laizy, her mother Kathie, who is 77 years old, and her friend Jossie. The takeoffs were challenges due to light winds conditions. Ian managed to do them and it was an achievement that Kathie, at 77 years old, managed to do the race to be able to take off.

A MAJOR Challenge, Kathie with 77 years, is running hard for her fly, and Succeed!!!
And this is ALL ABOUT… God Bless!!!

Edgardo had to take off first with Wolfkang, a native of Germany. He didn’t speak Spanish and a little bit of English, so Edgardo had a hard time with communication. They managed to make the flight, although Edgardo ended up hurting his ankle, which was stepped on by Wolfkang on the takeoff run. Apart from that everything was fine.

Then it was the turn of Camila and Amanda, daughters of Dennis and Glori. Both took off without any major problems and enjoyed a great ride along the coasts. In fact, at one point during the flight, Edgardo and Ian managed to touch their paragliders and the moment was captured on video.

Edgardo finished the Demo Flights activities with Tamara in the afternoon. A great and long ride for Tamara.

The pilots stories…

Student/pilot Jason Scheurer, who about two years ago made two flights supervised by Luis Ruiz, was back this time and spent the entire morning working hard on inflating the paraglider. In the afternoon, with the assistance of Luis Ruiz, Jason went flying using his beloved Parajet Maverick Paramotor and this time using Luis’s 29-meter BGD Wasp paraglider. He remained flying for 1 hour and a half and reached an altitude of 1,000 ft over the entire coast, completely enjoying his flight. His landing was excellent too.

Another who flew was Fio López. His first flight, was using Luis’s BGD Wasp. On his second flight, he finally dared to fly his personal paraglider, Dudek Nucleon. He was very happy to continue overcoming barriers and most important, continue to add stories and adventures to his new career as a pilot. Congratulations!

Fio was very happy, and here measuring his Level of fly, jaja

In the afternoon, beside the fly of Edgardo with Tamara, Luis Ruiz and Jomar went together to fly the entire beach coast, taking some beautiful photos. (which we share in the photo section). The student Efrain Guzman also remains faithful to his inflation practices. Doing his job to become a pilot.
