The 4th day of the PPG Tour for our pilot friends from Iowa and Kentucky. This time we had a different activity due to the weather conditions. With a forecast of winds that could reach 40 mph!!! (see photo, Tropical Storm winds) we decided to do another activity during the day.
Kayaking Parguera Tour…
This time we went to the sea… Early in the morning we visited our friend Gaby Camacho, and his business “Kayaking Parguera”. We would be kayaking around the Parguera Cays on a very relaxing tour and in temperatures of 75 to 80 F.
Present on the adventure were Dan Bushman, Chris Crystal, Mitch Michael, Richard Turner, Chris “Banjo” Barnett, and local pilots Edgardo Rivera, accompanied by his Macaw Darwincito, and Luis Ruiz accompanied by his son Noah Enrique.
With the required instructions submitted at 7:30 AM, we were in the water before 8 AM. We sail towards Májimo Cay and later to Enrique Cay. The attentions from Gaby as always, were excellent, bringing inclusive snacks and water to the present along the route.
For a day with no flying chances, our friends had a great time in the warm waters of La Parguera in Lajas. For tomorrow, Thursday, the strong winds continue and the plans are return to the South, to try another flight area (San German), and later we are thinking about a boat ride after the flights activity. Stay Tuned….
