Without much planning, Luis Ruiz ended up with Edgardo Rivera at Doña Lala Beach in Rincón. This after Edgardo traveled to the west zone with the intention of flying.
The wind in the area was coming completely from the W. It turns out that Edgardo Rivera managed to make a first flight through the Parque Colon area of Aguadilla. Later in the afternoon, he met with Luis Ruiz at Pico de Piedra Aguada Beach. There, they found that the winds from the W, and the relative high waves would preclude safe flight in the area, and the plan to obtain a suitable location in Rincón began…
This area of Rincón is beautiful, but very difficult to fly, you need very specific weather and wind conditions, and there are very few days of the year that you have these conditions. Today was one of those days…
After evaluating the alternatives while touring the coast of Rincón, the selection was Doña Lala Beach, near the public square of Rincón. The possible takeoff and landing area was busier than usual, so the plan had to be carefully evaluated. But we had the climate we were looking for, and ready with the correct equipment (and skills).
Once they identified the area, they both went out to fly along the entire coast of Rincón, in what became an epic flight, very well used by both to take excellent videos and photos of the entire coast.
