After a week of very active weather where flying conditions were not adequate, we returned to Villa Pesquera Isabela. This time we had some Demo Flights pending, the visit of international pilots and of course, the local pilots, looking to fly after a week of forced rest.

Things weren’t looking good in the morning…
The morning started with rain, and things were not looking good for the day. But we knew that the weather would improve, we didn’t know how much, but it should be better than the first hours of the day…
The improvement and Demo Flights…
And eventually, everything happened just as planned. The wind stabilized, although it remained strong, between 17 to 23 mph, but it was possible to fly with total safety and enjoyment. Edgardo, Luis and Ian were in charge of carrying out some previously coordinated Demo flights, and this time they had to fly 29 meter size paragliders to carry them out. There were a large number of new friends living their flight experiences. Here we put some videos of their experiences.
Meanwhile, in his first training practices, student Miguel Orona had a difficult time trying to master the 14-meter BGD Seed paraglider in these conditions. His attitude towards the sport and his learning are going in the best way, but he had a difficult time today and the wind did not forgive him… there will be better days.
The pilots…
Today was a challenging day for the pilot community as the wind was strong. Fio López managed to fly in these conditions. It’s the first time it’s taken off in winds over 18 mph!!! He was assisted by the pilot Jomar Crespo in the Take Off. Congratulations!!!
Another who flew again was Sammy Badillo, assisted by Alberto Sabah. Sammy has been recovering from an injury to one of his hands and today he flew again after months of inactivity.
While Alberto, Ken, Darwin, Jomar, Edgardo and Deron also flew around as they pleased. Deron and Ken even brought food for those present. Thank you!!!
