Luis Ruiz had coordinated with Pedro Agostini to visit the Posa del Obispo in Arecibo to have activity today. But when he arrived at the place, Luis found that there were too many people (it’s Sunday), and the wind was quite strong. It is not a good combination to have a good and safe flight activity.
Faced with this situation, Luis Ruiz decided to travel to Villa Pesquera Isabela, where there would be better conditions. Pedro would stay in Arecibo, since his plans to fly were secondary.
Villa Pesquera Isabela…
Luis Ruiz arrived in Isabela at 11 AM, and had good conditions and since no one had arrived (for the moment) he had the beach for himself (for the moment).
He took the opportunity to fly and get to the touristic Jobos Beach, where he landed right next to Foso Jacinto. From there he walked around the beach and took the opportunity to eat something at the restaurants in the area, which was the idea.
Once he was ready to take off, the school students, Efrain Guzmán and his sons Orlando and Enrique, called him, waiting in Villa Pesquera. The pilots Jomar Crespo and Alberto Sabah also arrived.
Efrain and his son Orlando continued their training, while Luis took Enrique for a Demo flight. At the same time, Alberto took advantage of the great weather and flew his sporty Flow RPM2 paraglider.
Improbable Visit and the Whales!!!
At one point, Teresa arrived, traveling all the way from Fajardo, accompanied by her husband Richard and family. She wanted to live the flight experiences before returning to the USA. How surprising would it be when at mid-flight, we find whales jumping in the sea and at a distance to which we could reach without major risks. So we headed there, and simply watch the video of Teresa, when she spots the whales. An unforgettable day where not only did she fly, but we enjoyed the presence of whales in the area. God Bless!!!
