Demo Flights in the morning…
The weather for flying was very good. Clear skies and the wind coming in with an average intensity of 10 mph from the North. What was worrying was the high waves that are basically affecting the entire island.
Luis Ruiz and Edgardo Rivera were in charge of carrying out the Demo Flights. Among them were Libby and Leilee, from Indiana, USA. They imagined it would be a good experience, but not to that point… Watch the video…
Also, Michelle, and Gustavo enjoyed their experience. Our friend Nevares had already visited us once, and this time, he brought them to Live the Experience. And they had a great Time!!!
Just passing around to see our flight activities were Franklin and his girlfriend Marielys, from Trujillo Alto. Both decide to Live the experience, ad we have a short video of their experiences…
Students Time…
Once the Demo flights were completed, Edgardo Rivera took “Chino” Morales for a fly. He is a new student of the Team, and Chino not only enjoyed his ride, but he had the opportunity to manage the controls in part of the flight.
And since we’re talking about the students, Efrain Guzmán was also present. He was ready to make its second flight in previous days, but the weather had not cooperated. Today the conditions were better and Luis Ruiz prepared the equipment and coordinated his flight. Efrain‘s attitude was way better this time.
This time, everything was good in the Take Off, but as soon as he gets in the air, he had some unexpected control problems with the Paramotor and the paraglider. After some tense minutes, he overcame that stage, and stabilized and was flying around for more than 30 minutes. He managed to sit better and enjoy the ride, something that had not been possible the first time.
Pilots Time…
While we were doing some Demo flights, and working with students. The Pilots from Team Kamikazes were very active in their flights. Mario Muniz was testing his body with hard exercises, in order to gets back in the air.
Also Jomar Crespo was present, and Fio Lopez, took a very short clip of him in the activities…
The visit from Eric Dufour and Elisabeth…
The visit of Eric and Elisabeth was coordinated for a long time. But due to his responsibilities at his Paramotor School in Jasper, Florida, they didn’t had a previous chance. But today was finally the moment that they could share with us in Puerto Rico. And was more special due to the birthday of Elisabeth. Daniel Charbonneau and his wife Susan accompanied them, Daniel is a Paramotor pilot from Quebec, Canada.
Luis Ruiz gave Eric one of his Paramotors, the ultra light SkyMax Pulsar II, and his beloved Paraglider, Sky Zorro 22-meters. Eric goes for a fly together with other pilots from the Team, and pass Royal Isabela heading to the Guajataca Tunnel in Quebradillas. He was impressed with the view and smoothness of the fly.
At some point in the afternoon, we celebrate the birthday of Elisabeth with part of the Team. That was a great and Epic Time with our friends. God Bless!!!
Late Afternoon Free Fly from the Cliff at “El Farallon”…
Ivan Torres, Darwin Hernandez and Edgardo Rivera moved to “El Farallon” in the cliff in Isabela to do Free Fly in the area. This, because the prevailing North winds entering from Sea, let them fly for hours without the use of a Paramotor. The Take Off area is located at some 2.5 miles from our Spot in Villa Pesquera. They Take Off from the cliff and normally pass flying Isabela downtown and arrive to our activities.
This time Darwin push the bar too far and gets too low in Royal Isabela, were he landed for some minutes. Quickly, he take Off and recover the altitude and keep flying until sunset !!! Ivan Torres joined him in the fly but choose to land in our activity place. Later in the day, Edgardo joined them. Here some videos of their adventures…
