The morning…
The weather, simply perfect for flying. Clear skies and winds coming in from the NNW at 5 mph were the norm for the day. Luis Ruiz was starting the flights along the entire coast and here we show his video upon arriving at Jobos Beach in Isabela. There you have an idea of what the flight conditions were like.
For his part, Luis Antonio was dedicated to practicing with his new BGD Magic XS paraglider, very different from what he had flown before. And he was followed in practice by students Miguel Orona and Chino Morales, both closer to their first “solo” flight. At one point in the afternoon, Luis Antonio and Miguel put paramotors on their backs with ideas of flying, but inflation control needs to continue improving and this is simply part of the process.
In the meantime, the pilots Fio López and Sammy Badillo arrived, and always a drama with their coordination…
They like to fly together and they did so before the recordings of our friend David Laboy at the controls of the Drone, (filming the stories of the day). He had an unexpected problem with one of his Drone, we hope he can resolve and save the videos taken during the day…
Demo Flights as an Introduction to the Sport…
Jouseph Meléndez arrived from Guaynabo, and after the introduction and explanation of procedures, he goes to fly with Luis Ruiz. The flight was longer than usual, and Jouseph enjoyed it to the fullest, check the video…
A little further ahead, arrived, Evelyn with her husband Anel. She was hesitant about making the flight, but once she was encouraged, she enjoyed her flight to the fullest. And here is the video of his reaction after the flight… And that is all about!!! God Bless!!!
The afternoon…
We spent the afternoon with the students. Miguel and Luis Antonio were looking to fly, but simply was not the moment for them. Chino was practicing and encouraging the other students. We leave ready to return tomorrow. But that’s another story.
