In the afternoon, Luis Ruiz went with his son Noah Enrique to play with paragliders on Pico de Piedra Beach in Aguada. There, in excellent conditions, we had a great time, and Noah as always demonstrating his skills. We had a visit from the pilot Gilbert Ávila, who stopped to say hello, since he is doing professional work in the Aguadilla area.

We were at Villa Pesquera Isabela early in the day. Presents were the pilots Alberto Sabah, Luis Ruiz, and the international pilot Eliseo Nogueras. The winds were strong, about 15 to 20 mph+ in intensity. And the 3 pilots using the sport paragliders, Dudek Warp and Sky Zorro had no problem flying the entire coast. After noon, and given the continuous increase in winds, we ended the activity.

After a day of rest due to weather conditions, we returned to Villa Pesquera Isabela. This time present were the pilots Eliseo Nogueras with his family, Sammy Badillo, Edgardo Rivera, Wilkins “Chino” Morales, Fio López, Darwin Hernández, Alberto Sabah, and Danis Rodríguez with his family.
Luis Ruiz was carrying out an introductory flight to the sport for young José Sánchez, a native of Gurabo.
Subsequently, the pilots Alberto, Sammy, Luis, Chino, Edgardo and Fio decided to make a flight stop at Jobos Beach in Isabela to have some refreshments. It was Chino‘s first time joining us on this adventure and I’m not sure if it was Fio‘s first as well. The landings were good, and we had a great time within the Jobos Beach area.
By the time we had to take off and return to Villa Pesquera, the wind conditions had changed, it was now coming in gently from the North, which forced us to run more, and towards the rocks and the sea. This was very challenging, since an equipment failure could immediately lead to difficult conditions. The initial concern was the most novice pilots, Chino and Fio, but ironically they were the first to take off.
In the end, the one who couldn’t get out was Edgardo, and his Paramotor was having problems, and he didn’t want to risk running towards the sea. Very good decision.
Chino Morales went to the rescue of Edgardo at Jobos, and eventually everyone returned to Villa Pesquera where Danis Rodríguez and Eliseo Morales were also flying.
At the end of the day, Edgardo and Chino returned to Jobos Beach to dinner, and Darwin appeared at sunset flying…
