Good day to fly, at least in the morning, since in the afternoon it became rainy for most of the island. This time, Luis Ruiz traveled early in the morning to Isabela to test his Parajet Paramotor, which had an ignition coil changed after losing power last week.
Testing the Paramotor and the Rescue…
Luis Took Off with the Paramotor and fly it around the coast and everything looks normal. But, after 10 minutes of flying , the Paramotor loose power again and even the engine stalled. Luis gets stranded at quite a distance from the flight location. (We will check it again later in the week…)
The pilot Fio López was on his way to Isabela, and after a call from Luis, he helped in the rescue. It is rare to see Luis Ruiz in this type of condition, but sometimes shit happens, and everyone had a good laugh at it…
More Pilots arrive…
Along with Fio, later arrive, the pilots Sammy Badillo, Alberto Sabah and Darwin Hernández. All of them continued flying while Luis returned home early to continue working on the Paramotors maintenance.
