Tuesday/Wednesday, August 27 – 28, 2024 – Some activities in the week with Kamikaze Pilots!!!

Even though the weather conditions were not ideal for flying, (which is typical for this time of year), we chose two days of the week to fly.

Tuesday, August 27, 2024…

The pilots Sammy Badillo, Fio López and Luis Ruiz decided to go early in the morning to Villa Pesquera, Isabela.

Starting the morning!!!
Sammy arrived, But… Fio find something…

The conditions were quite good for flying, and the 3 pilots did a “cross” flight along the entire coast. Luis Ruiz landed for a few minutes at Jobos Beach, while Sammy reached the Guajataca Tunnel in Quebradillas, and Fio López accompanied them on different parts of the fly.

3 Minutes of the perspective from Luis Ruiz while flying the coast of Isabela, including a Jobos Stop!!!

Around 11 AM, the winds increased in intensity and we finished our activities for the day.

Wednesday, August 28, 2024…

Luis Ruiz visited the Villa Pesquera Isabela early in the morning to do some test of his equipment, and to his surprise he found the student, Miguel Orona, doing kite training early on.

This time, the wind conditions were getting very strong from early on. So, both pilots decided to move to the beach of “Shore” Island, which is also located near Villa Pesquera, but is a little more hidden from the strong wind.

Miguel managed to do some practice, while Luis took a short flight around the area before finishing the day and week’s activities…
