We were back at Villa Pesquera Isabela, as we normally do on Sundays. This time were present the Instructor Luis Ruiz and his son Ian Darrell. Also, the pilots David Silva, Sammy Badillo, and the students/pilots Miguel Orona, Harry Dávila, accompanied by his wife Cuqui, his daughter Naye and his niece _
Also, arriving to Live the flight experiences were, Aracelys, her mother Alisin (in her birthday celebration), and her friend Audanis and Josean. They came from different parts of the island. All the flights were carried out and all of them had a beautiful flight experience. Here we leave a video of their adventure!!!
Harry‘ s daughter Naye and her cousin Yarielys Torres also signed up for the flying adventure. But, We had to hurry, since the weather conditions for flying were good in the morning, but as the hours passed, huge clouds, with lightning and thunder, threatened to reach the area. The Students plus Sammy Badillo and David Silva with “cross” flight plans…
While the Demo flights were being carried out, the students Harry Davila and Miguel Orona kept practicing on the field. This time Harry practiced with a modern paraglider Flow Cosmos Power 22-meter and Miguel was practicing with his new paraglider BGD Luna 3, and a Trainer BGD Seed paraglider.
In other hand, the pilots Sammy Badillo and David Silva were preparing for a “cross” Fly with initial direction of Guajataca in Quebradillas. The winds were increasing in intensity so, they had to hurry.
For this occasion, Luis Ruiz lent David his favorite cross-flight paraglider, the 22-meter Sky Zorro, which has many more performance than David‘s regular Paraglider. And obviously it could fly against the wind at a higher speed, etc.
What happened from here?… Well, you can imagine that David felt so comfortable with the paraglider that they not only reached Guajataca in Quebradillas, but they continued flying until they passed Camuy and reached the town of Hatillo. And, after asking them about the route, Sammy indicated that he was following David, and David indicated that he was following Sammy (who also has a speedy paraglider, the 22-meter Apco F3), and neither of them decided to turn until they were already going through Hatillo!!!
While this was happening, at Isabela, Luis Ruiz was very worried since the pilots did not return, he even called them by phone. The conditions in Isabela gets cloud-covered skies with thunder. After some tense minutes, they finally appear on the horizon, and handled to landed well at Isabela!!!
Some minutes later and due to the deterioration of conditions, we ended the activity. Thanks God as always to bring us all this adventures.
