Monday, September 16, 2024 – Ponce…
Luis Ruiz left early in the morning en route to Ponce. This after the news that the largest cruise ship in the world, the Icon of the Sea, would be back in La Guancha in Ponce for a few hours. Once Luis Ruiz arrived to Ponce, he found strong winds that predominated in the area, and when he did not see the Cruise Ship at the dock, he decided to end the day’s adventure.
Tuesday, September 17, 2024 – Isabela…
Luis Ruiz went very early to Villa Pesquera Isabela. On this occasion, we have the plans to carry out 3 Demo Flights that had been coordinated. Gilberto Mejías, a native of Aguadilla arrive to fly for second time with Luis. He came accompanied by Darius from Poland, and Axel, who resides in Boston, Massachusetts. Wednesday, September 18, 2024 – Arecibo…
Visit to Posa del Obispo Arecibo, but the place was quite empty and the flying conditions were not the best. We decided to gets back to home to work maintaining equipment for the next few days of activity.
Thursday, September 19, 2024 – Arecibo…
At around noon Luis Ruiz met with Ricky González and his wife Ermelinda at the Posa del Obispo Arecibo. Weather conditions were good for flying, although a cumulus cloud was approaching and would affect conditions in the afternoon.
Ricky took the opportunity to make his first flight in months, while Luis Ruiz went out to fly with Ermelinda around the surrounding area. We leave here a video that best describes the experiences in Arecibo.
Friday, September 20, 2024 – Aguada…
In the morning, Luis Ruiz was working with the equipment maintenance for the weekend. Then in the afternoon, he visited with his son Noah Enrique to Pico de Piedra beach in Aguada. There Noah took the opportunity to practice ground handling on the beach.
