This weekend’s activities were varied. We started on Saturday traveling to Arecibo, where we finally ended up in Hatillo, and then on Sunday we had activity, as usual, in Villa Pesquera, Isabela. Here the story…
Saturday, October 19, 2024…
We went early at Posa del Obispo in Arecibo. When we got there we did not find ideal flight conditions and decide to move from the place. (Although the pilot Pedro Agostini would fly in that area in the afternoon until dusk).
Plan B of the day was Parque del Norte Hatillo, and Luis Ruiz was flying around the area.
Luis Ruiz made an Introduction Flight to the sport to Zari, a native of Malaysia, who arrived accompanied by his family. Her experience, as usual, was excellent and we leave here a short video of her adventure!!!
In the meantime, the pilot/student, Harry Dávila arrived with his wife Cuqui. We took the opportunity to adjust his Paramotor and put new propellers on it, also we tested his new paraglider Flow Cosmos Power 22-meter. Later in the day, Harry decides to fly and it was impressive to see Harry flying this time with winds intensity close to 20 mph!!!. That was his flight #6. Congratulations!!!
Sunday, October 20, 2024…
We arrived early in the morning at Villa Pesquera Isabela. Present were, Luis Ruiz with his son Noah Enrique, Miguel Orona, Sammy Badillo and Ricardo González with his wife Ermelinda.
Luis Ruiz was early in the morning making some introductory flights of the sport to Jose Reyes and Jennifer from Florida, USA. Was funny that they get too close to the cliff shore of the area and gets completely wet with a big wave that splash in the area. At the end, just Jennifer enjoyed the fly, due to a compromise from Jose that need to leave early.
Other that enjoyed the experience was Eduardo, from San Juan. A former Sky Diver and now moving to Isabela and considering to enter the sport. So, we will be pending of his adventures…
In the meantime, the pilots Sammy, Ricardo and Miguel were flying around the coast. The student Miguel made his 4th flight, and on this occasion, his takeoff and landing were without assistance, demonstrating his progress. Congratulations!!!
At their side were little Noah, playing and practice with a Paraglider. God Bless!!!
A bis storm formed close to Quebradillas. And with that, we finished the activities of the Weekend. God Bless!!!
