The Actions…
The morning began with light winds and every pilot handled to Take Off and fly at will along the entire beach coast of Camuy, Hatillo and Arecibo. On this occasion we had the presence of the pilot Berto García. Berto has a beautiful paraglider customized with the flag of Puerto Rico, and as you can imagine, it attracts a lot of attention.
Also, we had the presence of Ken Arciola, who escaped from the winter cold of New York, USA and has been flying with us on the island. He made several flights, and today he even arrived flying to the Arecibo Lighthouse, and later finished his flights session flying towards Isabela where he lives when is in Puerto Rico.
In the meantime, the other pilots were demonstrating why they are ambassadors of the sport today. Pedro, Pablo, Ricardo, Sammy, Mario and Luis joined Berto and Ken on flights along the coast. Ivonne Valdez was in charge of make great videos of each of them. Some of them are include here…
The Weather gets bad in the afternoon…
In the afternoon, several pilots (Pedro, Pablo, Mario, Sammy, Berto, Ricardo, Luis) went out for one last flight through the Camuy beach area. To their surprise, the weather was deteriorating rapidly with low clouds, cold air and cumulus clouds nearby. So, we went to land as soon as possible and with that we finished the flying activities of the day…
