Wednesday, January 22 and Thursday, January 23, 2025 – Days 3 & 4 of the Adventures in Dominican Republic…

After a very active day yesterday in Nigua and which ended with Noah Enrique’s Kart race. Today the adventure took us to Juan Dolio, where we would meet with our pilot friend Eduardo Raposo, whom we had not seen for more than six (6) years.

Tuesday, January 22, 2025…

At the morning, David Tejeda coordinated a bicycle ride along the entire Santo Domingo boardwalk. For this, David took out 3 bicycles, and David, Luis and Noah Enrique runs the bikes several miles of the boardwalk. In total the tour lasted 1 hour and 40 minutes. It was a nice experience, although Noah looked exhausted since he didn’t expect the route to be so long. After this we had breakfast and headed to Juan Dolio.

Visit and flights in Juan Dolio…

After more than 6 years without sharing, Luis Ruiz finally reunited with Eduardo Raposo. Both have had many flying stories together, at Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and in some events in the USA.

This time in Juan Dolio, we got ready to fly, although Eduardo‘s Paramotor, possibly due to being inactive for a long time, was causing problems. So, Luis first went out and took a gentle ride on his 29 meter BGD paraglider, where he took a Live Video around the area.

Later, the wind increased in intensity and Luis then used his 22-meter Sky Zorro paraglider. And later the paraglider was also used by David Tejeda, who felt very comfortable with it, he was accompanied in the air by Eduardo Raposo. Meanwhile Noah practiced inflation with the 18 meter Sky Z-Blade sport paraglider.

In the afternoon we shared with Eduardo in the pool of his villa, and at night we went out to eat at a restaurant near the place. It was a great day of flying and great sharing. Thank God!!!

Wednesday, January 23, 2025…

The original plans for this day were to leave early for a trip to “Las Terrenas” in the North Coast of the Dominican Republic. Very nice place, but one that Luis Ruiz had never visited. But the weather forecasts indicated that it would not be good for flying in that area. Rather, it was ideal to fly again in Juan Dolio.

After evaluating the possibilities, we decided to postpone the visit to “Las Terrenas” for one day, and reunite again with Eduardo Raposo in Juan Dolio to fly in the afternoon.

Change of plans due to weather, again heading to Juan Dolio.

This time, upon arriving at Juan Dolio, we found stronger winds, and still Eduardo keep facing problems with the adjustment of his Paramotor. Even so, he managed to fly anyway, although with some consequences…

Motor Quit, no problem for Eduardo Raposo, he handle to arrive to ground and the paraglider didn’t get wet…

Luis Ruiz flew there twice, and this time in addition to David Tejeda, also arrived Roberto Rodríguez. They were both helping and recording Noah Enrique in his paragliding kiting events, and tested the ultra fast paraglider Sky Z-Blade on ground.
