With excellent flying conditions, Luis Ruiz was back in Villa Pesquera, Isabela. He had to make some pending Demo flights which had not been possible on the past days due to the strong winds conditions.
Gregg and Angie came to live their experience from South Carolina, as well as Vicky, wife of Dan Landis, who had been cancelled some days ago due to the weather. Here we leave a video that best describes their experiences.
In the afternoon hours, Luis was setting equipment for flights scheduled for tomorrow, and that include the possibility of the first “solo” flight of the student Shirley Hernández.

With excellent flying weather, we had some unexpected situations. It turns out that student Shirley Hernández could not arrive due to a family situation. In addition, international pilots Randy Kester and Deron Freeman also had situations (with transportation), along with local pilot Wilkins “Chino” Morales, with family issues, and they could not arrive as agreed. Just Paul Whitmore could stop to say Hi !!!
Luis Ruiz was making a Demo Flight for Terry, who arrived accompanied by her husband Bill, from Delaware, USA.
Surprise birthday…
At sunset, Luis Ruiz visited the town of Camuy to celebrate his birthday with family, Jessica Cruz, and sons Ian Darrell, accompanied by his girlfriend Paola, and little Noah Enrique.
Luis did not imagine that the “Extended” family of pilots from Team Kamikazes had agreed by surprise to arrive to the activity. They came to the activity to celebrate with Luis on his birthday.
Present in the surprise were Pablo Cruz and his wife Millie, Ricky González and his wife Ermelinda, Mario Muñiz and his wife Ivonne, Roberto Rodríguez, his wife Elba, along with his daughter Ashley and husband, Eduardo Pabon and his wife Esther, Mercedes Sabah, José Luis Hernández, his wife Francheska and sons, and Noel Vale with his wife Tata.
We had a great time together. Thank You to everyone who attended. Eternally grateful. God Bless!!!

With warnings that the weather would become windy in the coming days. Luis Ruiz made a flight along the entire coast of Isabela in the afternoon. It was already clear that conditions were about to change. You could feel the energy of the wind and weather approaching our shores.
