With the weather and winds slowly improving, we were back in Villa Pesquera Isabela. Even though the winds were still strong, we managed to make some flights and even dedicate time to give some teach to a potential new student…
The plans in the morning…
The wind forecasts indicated that there will be a reduction in the intensity of the wind today, but this was NOT the case. We still had very strong winds in order to enjoy a traditional flying activity.
Present were Instructor Luis Ruiz along with the pilots Sammy Badillo and Miguel Orona. Also arriving from Carolina was the school’s possible new student, Ramón Maldonado. Due to the strong winds, Sammy decided not to fly, and Miguel dedicated himself to practicing a bit with a small paraglider.
Training and a Demo Fly…
Despite the strong winds, we managed to do some work, practicing and flying. Luis Ruiz first managed to do some flights around the area.
He even made a Introduction Demo Fly to Eugenio, who had arrived with his wife Zenaida, We made the coordination of introductory flights previously in the week. But, this time we only made Eugenio‘s flight. We postponed Zenaida‘s flight and other friends until tomorrow. In the meantime, Eugenio was very pleased with his experience. check the short video!!!
Beside that, Luis was taking time to began some training to the potential student Ramón Maldonado. Not only in the theoretical part, but I also took the opportunity to practice a little paragliding inflation in the area.
