We reach the weekend, and finally we have suitable conditions to fly. The weather has been gradually improving, and we were able to be active both days, and as always there were stories that deserve to be remembered…
Saturday, February 22, 2025…
We were in Villa Pesquera, Isabela, during the morning. Present were Luis Ruiz, Sammy Badillo, Danis Rodríguez (who arrived from New York, where he resides), along with Danis came his friend Emanuel and family.
The weather was pretty good for flying in the morning. Sammy, Danis and Luis took the opportunity to flight around the area. But, as the morning progressed, the wind began to pick up in intensity.
A Demo Fly by Danis…
Danis, with the assistance of Luis and Sammy, managed to carry out an Introduction Demo Flight to his friend Emanuel. Here we leave some visuals of the feat.
Later in the morning, with more intense winds, Sammy, Luis and Danis take off again, but on this occasion, the intensity of the winds got out of control. Already in the air we found ourselves flying in conditions of over 22 mph+, and surely with some gusts close to 30 mph.

Danis stayed close to the landing area, but Sammy and Luis had to fight against the wind to return, since they were flying over Posa de Teodoro when the strong winds caught them.
Everything went normally, since the pilots are trained for this type of winds and were flying with correct equipment for this situation. Shortly after this, we ended the activity.
Sunday, February 23, 2025…
Luis Ruiz returned to Isabela again, this time accompanied by his friend and pilot Pablo Cruz and his wife Millie and the pilot/student Raul Rivera from Vega Baja.
It was a very active morning where Luis was doing some previously coordinated introductory flights to the sport. Pablo was assisting with the details and with the passengers. Later, the afternoon gets windy again and we end the activity for the day…
Extra Videos…
Pedro Agostini and Edgardo Rivera attended the Posa del Obispo in Arecibo. The winds were also very strong there, but they both managed to fly…
