The adventures…
In the morning, and basically all day, the wind was quite light. About 5 mph NNE. Ideal for flying the entire coast, although, as always, being able to take off in these winds is challenging for several of the pilots.
Today was a day well spent by the pilots, Pablo made 3 flights during the day. It had been a while since he had flown so many times in a day. Ricky, although he had some problems taking off and landing, when flying, he reached the Arecibo Lighthouse and later arrived to the Statue of Columbus, before returning to Hatillo. Wilkins Torres also went flying on a couple of occasions. While Luis Ruiz, made a low-altitude flight along the entire Hatillo and Camuy coast. Later, he went out to fly with his son Noah.
“Cross” Flights Part I…
Taking Off from Isabela were the pilots, Chino Morales, Sammy Badillo and Danis Rodríguez. they are heading to Hatillo, at some 20 miles away. Everyone arrived safely, although Danis had some problems with the tip of his propellers and the Paramotor cage. Even so, everything went well in flight.
Once in Hatillo, they stopped to eat, and share with the other pilots. Eventually they took off again towards Isabela in the afternoon.
“Cross” Flight Part II…
The Pilot Enrique González also arrived in the afternoon to Hatillo. He took off from “El Único” Beach in Dorado. And eventually, after refueling, and taking a break, he flew back to Dorado!!!
Enrique will be participating at an international Cross-Distance Paramotor flights events in Italy, and he is preparing for such purposes!!!
With Enrique‘s departure back to Dorado, we finished the day’s activities. Tomorrow it’s time to return to Isabela with Training for our school students. Stay tuned…
